Fencing & Grounds Foreman
Full time / Hamilton North, Waikato / $37 to $48 per hour
We're on the lookout for an experienced Fencing & Grounds Foreman to lead our crews across the Waikato. It's a varied, hands-on role running security and rural fencing, retaining walls and groundworks, along with tree and firewood work, on residential and commercial sites. You'll lead jobs on the ground, keep the crew moving and see the work through to a tidy finish.
- Lead security and rural fencing jobs on site
- Oversee retaining wall builds and groundworks
- Run tree felling, trimming and firewood work
- Lead and support the crew on the ground
- Read plans, organise materials and keep jobs moving
- Handle timesheets, pre-starts and daily paperwork
- Operate machinery, including tractor and post driver
- NZ working rights and a valid driver's licence
- At least 2 years' trade-level fencing experience
- Confident operating a tractor and post driver
- A proven ability to lead a crew
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Good communication and comfortable using job-management apps
- Handy to have: First Aid, Chainsaw or Wheels / Tracks / Rollers tickets
